Maybe she's roosted on the "ledge" everynight? Would make more sense why she is there first light laying.

The video system records motion, on the morning of the first two eggs there was no activity until about 6am when she entered the box.

Strange goings on all right...she's obviously happy that the temperature for her eggs are okay in the box....? It will be interesting to see what happens going forward.

The male is feeding her 3 times in 5 minutes.

She's sitting on the eggs a bit more overnight now, and seems more relaxed in the box. Haven't had a clear view of the eggs today but there should be seven.

Looks like she's started incubation. There should be eight eggs but I haven't had a clear view of them yet.
