Also in my sliver birch log box with black and white camera in a pair of blue tits have been making daily visits since the end of January, But the last few days the visits have been increased alot probably over 20 visits a day with lots of nest wriggles so looks like I could have 2 nests this year fingers crossed for nest material in the log box soon here's a picture of her in there today.

Great news Paul. Its lots of fun checking out two boxes. You will see small differences in behaviour. The colour on your side box looks so vivid.

Thanks Ben, The colour in the sidebox depends on the weather, On a sunny day the colour is bright and colourful on a cloudy day there is still alot of colour but not as deep and rich as on a sunny day, Very happy with it though.

Here's a little video of some clips from nestbuilding this morning

Little update on the log box too, Female keeps bringing material in then taken it all back out, Also this morning I have had material brought into a 3RD box of mine! So fingers crossed I could have 3 nests this year.

The only nest at moment that is making good progress is the sidebox though when the others make progress and material is kept in i'll update them in this thread too.

Wow! Are they all blue tits Paul? How far apart are the boxes if you don't mind me asking? Our blue tits and Great tits will not stand for any other of their own breed being within two houses. Any that come to the feeder at this time of year are chased away for quite a distance.
