I heard a bridcall coming from wetland grass/reed area in the Ardnish area, south of Arisaig, west of Scotland, early July - low, oscillating, two-tone call, lasting 2 or 3 seconds - almost "wood-wind" in tone. Saw nothing. Very keen to know what it was, if anyone can assist please ? Thanks.

Bit late in the year but could it be a grasshopper warbler? Did it sound like a fishing real

No - suspect it was a larger bird - seemed to be some way off (100m ??) - quite a low tone - not a fast repeat "trill", but slower and lower tones
