Thanks for posting, Elizabeth, I'd have missed it otherwise.

It was quite by chance that I found it!

Stephen Moss has a monthly feature in the Guardian, and I remembered today that I should have checked Monday's paper to get the October one, because I cut out and keep his articles. (They're not available online, presumably for copyright reasons - I think they appear in book form eventually). At the end, he mentioned Autumnwatch, so I started Googling. Very Happy

I've only now had time to look through the website - and there's lots to see. The first pic here is particularly scary!!!!

is it me or is Bill much more restrained? I'm actually quite enjoying it.

I'd still prefer it not to be "live" a series of Films would be better. Ala Oddie Goes Wild.

I enjoyed it tonight as there were more squirrel and bird items, and less being subjected to seeing the deer bonking, erm sorry, rut, I can only watch so much of that I'm afraid, find it bores me to tears. Sorry Simon. Rolling Eyes

Jan

I find Simon's segments a bit samey and dull. What was the point of sticking him next to an airport to DO the broadcast?

I'm enjoying it too, although I do get very fed up with deer. They seem to be in every series! I agree with Pete, the pre-filmed items are by far and away the best. The piece about the New Forest the other night was beautiful.
