.. least I believe that's what it's going to be called!!

I mentioned a while back http://forum.biggonline.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=39606&highlight=crew#39606 about a film crew coming to visit my garden to film birds and in particular Parakeets

I can now advise that it will be shown on BBC2
Monday 11 August 2008 - every weekday for 2 weeks - only snag is it's on at 2.35 p.m. Hey ho!

When/if I know in advance when "my" bit about Parakeets is on, I'll follow up here.

(you might see someone you know being interviewed - if the Beeb haven't edited it out of course Laughing )

Hey thanks for the advanced warning, I will set my Sky+ for Series Link if possible so I won't miss any of it. Very Happy

Sorry, had to go through it again because I'd forgotten!

Select TV Guide, Select BBC2, Scroll forward to the desired time of the show, in this case it seems it's 2.35pm, then Press Yellow Button(+24 hours) and keep scrolling until it shows the start date, which is August 11th (I think you can only do this 1 week in advance, not sure) Then Press R to record. You then get the yellow banner up showing thats done, and then at the bottom of the picture, you see a Green Square saying Series Link. Press your Green button, and it will record the whole series (I've done it for Lost and Dr Who, so it does work) Wink

Whilst I'm on the subject, I watched Lost Land of the Jaguar last night, two more programmes to come, and it was FANTASTIC! So I've just set my Sky+ to record those incase I forget they are on.

OK - so this is where the BBC (and I) get to blush a great deal.

I've had an e-mail from my BBC contact this a.m to advise me, and apologise on behalf of the BBC that, it would seem, the BBC weren't fully aware of the impending Olympics and therefore have decided NOT TO SCREEN Natures Top 40 in August after all.

At this time, no alternative date is known.

When I know anything more, I shall post again - probably about 5 minutes before it's due to be screened - just to be safe!

I really can't believe the beeb at times.

I thought everyone was boycotting the Olympics anyway. Natures Top 40 versus some athletes in smog - no contest!!

Well - I've had an update - but I'm now getting so cautious that I'm not making any statements until nearer the time. All I will say at this juncture is, that it's not THIS month!

Jan - thanks for that. I'd not been notified by the BBC Rolling Eyes Perhaps they've abandoned the Parakeets!
