Great pics and good to see that SW has acknowledged the site where the footage was shot! Very Happy

Hope they do well!

Hi All

There is an image updating every minute that can be found here.

http://www.hawkandowl.org/SculthorpeHome/Webcam/FocusOnSculthorpe.htm

The chicks have been ringed and should fledge soon. When they there weighed the 2 "big" chicks weighed 570g and 550g, the small chick weighed 690g !!!

Thanks for the link Huw. Do you have any idea how long it is before the chicks fledge? They are looking quite mature now!

It's difficult to understand why the littlest chick should also be the heaviest. I don't suppose they could have mixed up the records when they weighed them could they?

Hi Peter

Yes they have fledged, but they still pop back to the nest now and again.

We are putting some more cameras at the moment.

How about this for a strange pair of friends, they seem to really like eack other. A kingfisher and a lesser spotted woodpecker, taken at Sculthorpe by i-Catcher.

Lets hope that the pecker does not follow the fisher into the drink by mistake.
