Me neither. Getting excited at seeing the lovely Simon again Love

And bracing myself for the deluge from the dubious Mr Oddie's big gob! Rolling Eyes

I would agree that Bill Oddie can be irritating at times .. but, love him or loathe him .. it has to be acknowledged that he's done an enormous amount for British birdwatching ... At least he's an "active" Birder & knows what he's talking about ...

Whereas, the air-headed Kate Fumble .. merely prattles on incessantly, wanting to endow each & every creature with human names & characteristics ... She only pretends to know what she's talking about ... and would do far better to return to Longleat & the "pink & fluffy" residents in Kiddie's Corner ... She ruins for me,what would otherwise be a delightful & informative programme ..

Bye for now,

Kev ..

she does - I loved that programme !

I like Bill and Kate, but would be equally happy to see a team like this:

field/presenters:
Chris Packham
Eillie Harrison

field experts:
Simon King
Bill Oddie
Kate Humble (sea/underwater wildlife)

I remember Chris mainly from "The Really Wild Show" when I was a kid! Not seen much of him since then, but a few months ago I stumbled on this piece he wrote about Swifts: http://www.bbc.co.uk/insideout/south/series7/swifts.shtml
