Just checking your website EB for the latest update and saw you now have your own Forum - excellent. You inspired me to invest in my very own box and camera which is up and running - though I do have a few questions which I can now post in the relevant place - thank you.

Welcome to the Forum, Margaret - I'm glad you found it. There are a few people here with nestcams, so you will get help with your questions.

There is now a Suggestion Box too, and ideas for new topics are always welcome - maybe you'll have some thoughts? Smile

Congratulations to the Bigg family for the new bird forum and site! Very Happy

I've been members of two other bird forums, but must say The Bigg Bird Forum looks really great and easy to use.

I'm a keen and learning birder and have been fascinated watching the Biggonline boxes. Regretably whilst mine is being visited, the feathered friends are currently scorning it. May resite the box.

Thanks for your kind words Tricia and welcome to BBF. We have more or less given up on one of our two boxes this season, the first total failure we have had in 5 years of bluetit box watching.

It may be too late for moving the box to attract a pair this year, but I guess you've nothing to lose!

Hi folks, I am the new boy, I can say that can't I, I'm only 61 years young.
After all they say you're only as old as you feel. I told the wife "I feel like an eighteen year old," but she won't let me have one.
Okay okay so it's an old joke but so am I. Well my name is Len and I hail from Bournville (where they make all that nice chocolate) a suburb of Birmingham. As I say I am 61 and I am a special needs bus driver, driving disabled people to various destinations they couldn't otherwise get to. I am married (second time) I lost both my parents before I was 6years old. I am grannie reared.
I was born 29/03/1948.
I am hoping to improve my photography of birds that's why I have joined this forum hoping to get some useful tips.
I have an Olympus E-410SLR I have got some great bird photographs, but I know I still have a lot to learn here's hoping I can pick some experts tips.
