It's just an idea... What about having a forum to help identify birds that you either take pictures of or record unusual birdsong.

I've had an unusual birdall most days so I ordered a birdsong CD to help me identify but I underestimated just how difficult it is to locate it. I'm now waiting in for a delivery of a decent pair of headphones just to make listening a bit easier.

Oh and on about identifying birds, I sent a pic to my sister who identified it as a Dunnock. I hadn't seen one in my garden before and I sort of embarresed myself when I told one of my friends "I saw a Pillock in my garden today"... Embarassed

*I swear it's the drugs I'm on... Just can't get my worms out *

Neomorph/John - Malcolm and I have already discussed the possibility of having this, so I hope it will appear before too long.
