Since we cleaned the bird boxes we have had a bluetit lodger in the box with the camera since October. As the nights got longer and it stayed longer in the box it pood inside the box. Saw it clearing some at first but then didn't bother. It returned during the day for a few days, had a look round, then back for night. It is still coming back each night and going off in the morning. I'm hoping it will clear the poo out. I've told it to clean up or its out. My hubby was looking via camera as i was talking and it was hearing a voice from its head movements. when i stopped it finally settled down. (I still haven't worked out if its female or male).

No perfect time for camera box, All my boxes at moment getting daily visits by blue tits.
They start looking around January / February with the more serious visits / nest wriggles end of February / March.

i will have to patience until sunday now ,my son has just asked if we want a family day out at the national space centre with my grandchildren.
we live 80 miles away from them so we don't see them often enough
lets hope sunday will be a good day to be putting up the box, i look forward to the weekend ahead
