Hi guys,

It would appear I am overwhelmed by the options available to me.
Can anyone recommend some hardware for me?-

I have a netbook with no CD drive, are all USB video capturing devices need the CD to install the drivers/program? Something like this?
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USB-2-0-Capture-Card-Audio-Video-VHS-to-DVD-PC-Converter-Adapter-win-7-8-10-Mac/273189631020?hash=item3f9b5ef42c:g:JjYAAOSwbw1aHoXp

I was looking on eBay at this camera-

I am happy to hear honest opinions on it and do tell me if it's rubbish, as the prices are very low.

I assume I will just have to go with cable as a transmitter is too far away.
Guess I need to drill threw the walls to get it to my netbook or TV. (sitting room in the front of house, nest box at the very back of the back garden, about 30meters cable at least, with 2-3 walls in the house in the way!

BTK,
The thing for PC is fine, But it probably will come with a disk, I know most of them do.

The camera won't be great quality, I have had them camera's before the
viewing angle is pretty much on top of the bird / nest very close up.
With camera's you are better going for something that list the angle of the camera, If you want a wider view into the box its best to go with 90 degree angle or above.
Alot of the cheaper camera's only came with a 60 degree angle.

If you are looking for a cheapest camera set try something like this this from Handykam for £35 at moment (with 20M lead) down from £55 its on sale, only the 20M cable one is on sale but 20M is over 65 foot so should be ok, it as a 90 degree angle so give you a wider shot of inside the box.
https://www.handykam.com/product/wired-colour-bird-box-camera-kit-standard-resolution-20m-cable/

Gives you alot of info about the camera, If I was going to go for a cheaper camera set it would be that one.

This camera does look better Paul, thanks.
I might by the USB device for £20 too, I wonder could I install the editor on the CD on my work PC, put it on my own USB and install on my Netbook? Worth a try?!

Did you see how much the Video catching device is for iPhones and tablets?! A bit steep, but would be handy.
