mum is desperately trying to coax her brood out the box... she's been in and out all morning... waiting outside the box calling to them.

the chicks aren't having any of it - most of them still sleeping, then begging for food.

A couple firing up their wings - which is amazing to watch.

Sooooooooooooo exciting....!

sorry sammi, but the weather in bristol has been ok today..... yesterday was a washout...

mum gave in and started feeding the chicks in the bird box again, so the lazy blighters haven't budged... shame as I have been at home all day. No doubt they will all clear off tomorrow when I'm stuck at work!

will let you all know.

well my chicks were kind enough to wait until Saturday.... all chicks appeared to be in he nest box at 8 this morning

just now the 9th and final chick left the box.

9 eggs, 9 chicks, 9 fledglings - I am delighted.

It's about time we had some success!!!!
