Hi Dan
You are equal with me now 9 eggs hatched. Or at least I think so, difficult to count bodies but definitely no eggs left in Poppy's nest. They always remind me of little Aliens at this stage!! Laughing

so an update from Bristol... i think we have 9 chicks still.... it's hard to count with not much room in the nest.

mum & dad have been really good this year and worked their socks off... I've never seen a dad being so much help at feeding the chicks.

the chicks are starting to look more and more like adults as we count the days down.... wings are flapping and they are hopping around the nest.

i have made two "paul feeders" but it seems food is plentiful here at the moment, and the only attention they have drawn is from a courageous robin, who I am now feeding my worms to!

fingers crossed all.....

Dan

Dan
They look exactly like mine-due to go weekend if not before. Fed mainly on mealies but what the heck if I'm broke they are worth it! Wish I could pick them all up and give them a cuddle Laughing

Hope you have a successful fledging and good luck to them - keep safe Dan's little birdies.

Kathy
