Our camera nest box has had a BT roosting in it for the last fortnight. She has decided last years nest is quite satisfactory, only requiring a lick of paint, some extra feathes and some fresh moss.
We turned the camera on earlier to find a rather large bumble bee, hunkered down in the nest cup. The bee is slowly moving around the nest cup and appears to be rather drowsy.
No sign of the resident BT so far, we will be watching avidly at 17.55 when she is due back to roost.
Has anyone had a similar situation, if so what was the outcome?
Regards
Jim
Elizabeth/ Malcom, could you move this to nest boxes please, for some reason its ended up in the welcome pages, thanks. _________________ I've cut this bit of wood 3 times now
