Can anyone recommend a wood protector or preservative that will be safe for use on a new table? I've heard that teak oil is good but wanted to get some opinions before I use anything.
I'd like something that leaves a clear finish, rather than a stain. Also, is it a good idea to bring tables indoors in bad weather to prolong its life, or does that defeat the purpose of having a table?

Yes it does!
