Hi, Not sure if I should have used the 25mm or 28mm hole protector for the Blue Tit box, which size is most popular with them?

Hi Jo - this is what the RSPPB suggests:

25 mm for blue, coal and marsh tits
28 mm for great tits, tree sparrows and pied flycatchers
32 mm for house sparrows and nuthatches
45 mm for starlings

However - we use 28mm for bluetits and 32mm for great tits (we've never seen a great tit managing to get into a box with a 28m hole)!

Thanks for that Smile I did read that but its helpful to find out what works best from your experience.
Perhaps our Blue Tits are getting bigger now, with all this good food we feed them! Laughing
