When I looked out this morning I saw that the forecasters had got it right, so I threw on some clothes and ventured out with birds' breakfast.

First bring in the caged feeder:
Snowed up!

........ and instal the last fat block:
Food, glorious food!
Food, glorious food!

Now I'm off to the kitchen to make another batch of 5. Rolling Eyes

I made myself late for work to feed the birdies.

Fortunately my first meeting was cancelled so no harm done.

Me too I was 20 minutes late by the time I'd put the food out and defrosted the bird bath on Monday, so I had to rush around like a lunatic gathering all my things up for work. Then I discovered the car doors were all frozen shut (and the de-icer was in the car), so I couldn't go in anyway! Well, not until 12 noon, when I found a neighbour who sensibly hadn't left her de-icer in the car. My wretched door was frozen all the way around the seal, so I had to use about half a litre of the stuff to get it open. I've been driving for donkey's years and have never had that happen before it must have been pretty chilly.
