I have a cage feeder, but dont know the best place to put it is. I tried hanging it from the feeding station, but all the birds seemed interested in was the seed feeders. Does it matter what height you have your cage feeder, is their anyway you can encourage birds to use it? Any help is appreciated |

Live meal worms, but i was away for a week and when i came back the mealworms were floating in a bowl of water. No way of keeping the water out really is there? |

I use a feeder like this:

It looks quite big in the photo, but it's only about 20-25cm across. The dome keeps the rain out quite well – I bought it for feeding mealworms, but as I've never persuaded a bird other than starlings to take them, I now use it to feed suet pellets. It would fit inside some cage feeders, but it does depend how big the cage is. _________________ >>>
