Okay...so I have my webcam in place, my feeders are full, I have the i-catcher software, I have my own website and uploading software but how do I get images published to a page or stream to my site? Can anyone enlighten me on how to take that final step?

All help greatfully received...

Thanks

Peter

Peter,

I'm not sure where you are stuck. Is i-Catcher capturing images successfully to your PC? Do you have the i-Catcher web server running? Can remote viewers watch the action as it happens?

We write our diary and post the pictures that go with it by manually selecting appropriate images from the thousands captured every day so that the images illustrate the story in the diary. I believe that i-Catcher can write the images to a web address automatically but that implies that the lot get written there, the boring bits (99%!) as well as the interesting stuff.

If you want help with using the i-Catcher software, I have always found their support team very helpful.

Malcolm

Thanks for reply. I do have images going to my pc and even uploading to a folder on my web site. However I do not want to use the i-catcher frame\page to publish them, but rather I would like to publish the last six captured images (with one taken every 10 seconds) in a way that these get overwritten evey minute.

May call i-catcher but I only using it on trial at mo'

I would be interested to know if you ever got this sorted Peter, and if so how did you do it.

Reg - nope.

The one issue that I also have is that I am not willing to leave my pc on all day cos it eats energy...even though I do at work!

Thanks for the response Peter.

I am going to record during the day and and then put a video up a day late, not perfect but more controllable.
My PC is on anyway as I work from home.
