Hi folks,

Just like Steve I'm usually behind the camera rather than in front of it, but every now and again you HAVE to have a photo taken for Official documents etc. Passports was the obvious one but then along came the 'new' driving licences and I wanted one for that so......

'Smile for the camera' the photographer said
So smile for the camera I did
But the smile disappeared quite sharpish
When he said 'That'll be Thirty quid'

'Tell me you jest' I said with a frown
'I haven't got that sort of cash.
I was only buying one photograph,
Not the camera, tripod and flash'

'Get out of my studio' he bellowed at me
'Take your cheapskate self and go'
So I gave him the old two-fingered salute
And went off to the local Tesco

Shoved my coin in the slot, got into the booth
Sat and waited for it to take
Off went the flash, then again, and again
Till eventually I staggered out of the booth and waited by the slot and out came the photos and they were good enough and if I ever want a photo again I know where to go and the photographer can go jump in the lake!

Now don't think that I'm going to post one of them for you to see. I said they were 'good enough' and for the Licence they were, but when my Wife saw them she said 'I wouldn't want to be alone with him on a dark night'
(She's got a great sense of humour, my wife. I think)

Bill.
